UNSURPRISINGLY, Warrington Wolves players took all the available Steve Prescott Man of Steel points from Friday night's win over Hull FC.

The watching member of the voting panel picked captain-for-the-night Stefan Ratchford as their stand-out player, awarding him three points.

Having played almost exclusively at full-back for several years, Ratchford was asked to play at loose forward against the Black and Whites and did so with aplomb, making 48 tackles and kicking five goals to pass 1,000 points in a Warrington shirt.

Mike Cooper - the landslide victor of our Guardian readers' man of the match poll - claimed two points with the one remaining point going to Blake Austin.

Austin is The Wire's highest-placed player in the overall standings as he sits fifth on 11 points, five adrift of the current leader - Castleford Tigers hooker Paul McShane.
