DAVE Raven's departure from Warrington Town has been confirmed.
The experienced defender had been in pre-season training with Yellows while he weighed up whether or not to carry on playing.
His career will continue, but he has dropped down a division to sign for Northern Premier League North West Division side Marine.
Thanks to @theyellows for the last couple of years it was great. Really pleased to be joining @MarineAFC and starting another chapter, the older I get the more I appreciate playing and can’t wait for another season. https://t.co/DR0SSZ0Fmh

The 35-year-old has spent two seasons at Cantilever Park, forming an impressive partnership with skipper Mark Roberts that saw both named in the NPL Team of the Year for the 2018-19 campaign.
Town have recruited heavily in defence this summer, with Evan Gumbs, Callum Grogan, Matt Regan and Joel Amado being brought in.
