WARRINGTON Town – with new signing Luke Duffy in tow – fell to a heavy pre-season defeat on Tuesday night.
The highly-rated midfielder's signing from Lower Breck was confirmed prior to kick off and he was thrust straight into the starting XI to face Southport at Cantilever Park.

However, the National League North side managed by former Town man Liam Watson ran out 4-0 victors.
Jack Sampson, Mo Ali, Marcus Carver and George Newell were on target for a Southport side that also included former Town man Dylan Vassallo.
