A GOAL conceded deep into added time cost Warrington Town all three points at FC United of Manchester.
Town came from 2-0 behind to go close to victory but in the end drew 4-4.
Yellows led 4-3 thanks to skipper Mark Roberts’ 71st-minute effort but Curtis Jones rescued a point for the hosts with a leveller in the sixth minute of added time in front of 2,088 fans at Broadhurst Park.
Jordan Buckley (41, 45) netted twice in four minutes at the end of the first half to send Paul Carden’s side into the changing rooms level at 2-2.
Morgan Homson-Smith (9') and Tunde Owolabi (39') had earlier put United in a happy place.
Yellows were never behind again.
Jack Mackreth (54) handed Town the lead for the first time but Paul Charlie Ennis (63) squared the match again at 3-3.
Mackreth, Bobby Jones, Dylan Vassalo and Bohan Dixon were all cautioned – the latter three in the final 10 minutes of normal time.
Yellows stay sixth ahead of Tuesday’s trip to 18th-placed Ashton United.
