WHAT does Steve Price want to see from his Warrington Wolves side tonight?

The Wire welcome Toronto Wolfpack, who are bottom of Super League having lost all three of their matches so far, to The Halliwell Jones Stadium in a match many observers are expecting them to win comfortably.

Warrington cannot claim to be in a much better position, however, with two defeats so far including a drab loss at Wakefield on Sunday.

Price wants to see an "energised" display from his side tonight in their first ever league meeting with the Canadian outfit.

However, the Wire head coach is wary of what Brian McDermott’s “gritty” outfit will bring, particularly around their second-phase game.

“They’re going to be desperate, chasing their first win,” he said.

“Like any Brian McDermott team, they’re a gritty mob that like to play a bit of footy too.

“They play with a fair amount of offload and have a number of players that can cause us havoc.

“We have to be aware of that as well as playing some energised rugby this weekend.

“They do like to play off a bit of second phase. They move the ball around but they like to roll their sleeves up also.”

“There’s a number of threats there but our main focus is getting back to what we showed earlier in the season.”
