STEVE Price has a bit of a selection quandary for today's trip to Wakefield Trinity.

With Gareth Widdop fit enough to be included in The Wire's 21-man squad, the expectation is that he will make his debut at the Mobile Rocket Stadium.

How he fits into the side, though, appears to be up for debate.

With Anthony Gelling out of the picture for the foreseeable future following his arrest on suspicion of wounding with intent, however, the one definite hole in the side is at right centre.

With Widdop expected to play in the halves, could we see Stefan Ratchford move into the centres having covered at scrum-half for the opening two fixtures?

He has, of course, played plenty of centre during his time at The Halliwell Jones Stadium, but he has not started a game in that position since a 36-16 defeat at Castleford in June 2017.

An alternative course of action could be Ratchford reverting to his regular full-back spot at the expense of youngster Matty Ashton, who has been so impressive in the number one shirt in the campaign's early days.

That opens up the opportunity for one of Luther Burrell, Jake Mamo or Keanan Brand to come into the three-quarter line.
