WARRINGTON Town’s trip to Ashton United this afternoon has been postponed
The Hurst Cross playing surface was deemed unplayable upon inspection this morning, with Storm Dennis set to bring more heavy rain throughout the day.
This fixture has already been postponed once this season – the sides’ scheduled meeting on November 15 fell foul of wet weather.
A new date for the fixture will be announced in due course.
Paul Carden and his side have now had a second straight weekend without a game after their home meeting with Matlock Town on Sunday fell victim to Storm Ciara.
They will hope to return to action on Tuesday evening when they welcome Grantham Town to Cantilever Park. Kick off is 7.45pm.
