WARRINGTON Town's match against Matlock Town has been postponed due to safety concerns.
Despite a day of heavy rain, the Cantilever Park pitch is said to be playable but the high winds brought about by Storm Ciara meant player and spectator safety could not be guaranteed.
A new date for the fixture will be announced in due course.
Town have no midweek fixture so their next match will be at Ashton United on Saturday.
