FIVE of Lymm Rugby Club’s young stars were on county duty at the weekend – and had a pretty successful time of it.
A Cheshire under 20s side featuring Alfie Simpson, Sam Dickinson, Joe Heaton, Josh Hadland and James Sherlock ran out 40-19 victors over their Staffordshire counterparts on Sunday.
The Lymm senior teams were not in action but return to the field on Saturday.
All three sides are away from home – the firsts have a tricky trip to Rossendale, the seconds are at Birkenhead Park Wanderers and Lymm Eagles visit Wilmslow’s seconds.
