WARRINGTON Futsal Club have had a mixed bag of results this last few weeks as their teams start their journeys in the FA Youth Futsal Cup.

There was success for the club’s under 16s, who qualified from their regional competition to represent Cheshire at their age level.

However, there was double disappointment for the girls and the under 12s teams who missed out on the chance to represent the county at St. George’s Park – the home base of the England national football teams – later this season.

Elsewhere, there were wins for the under 8s and under 10s teams as preparation for the next round of games in the FA North West Youth Futsal League commences in a couple of weeks.

The club’s under 10s and under 12s will be in action again next week.

They kick off their next games against Crewe and Jogobola respectively in Middleton on the Saturday, December 7.

Meanwhile the under 8s, 14s and 16s are kicking off against Atletico Buckshaw, Manchester and Crewe the following week in Tranmere.

All details of Warrington Futsal Club’s fixtures can be found on the club’s website at www.warringtonfutsal.co.uk.

The club are also looking to add new players to their newly formed U15s team playing in a local futsal league.

Training takes place on Wednesday evenings between 6pm and 7pm at Cardinal Newman High School.
