IN conditions that appeared tailor-made for their opposition, Warrington’s quest for a first win of the season saw them fall short again.
They were beaten 32-7 by Stockport on Saturday, with Jack Stride’s try their only score of the game.
It means Andy Roberts’ side remain rooted to the foot of the North One West table ahead of a trip to third-bottom Bowdon on Saturday.
“We were up against a big, well drilled pack in conditions which suited them,” Roberts said.
“We exposed their weaknesses but have to be a lot more clinical in capitalising on them.”
