WARRINGTON Wolves will face Swinton Lions in a pre-season friendly, the club have confirmed.
The Wire will travel to Heywood Road in Sale on Saturday, January 25, to face the Championship outfit.
The match is believed to be part of the deal that brought outside back Matty Ashton to Wolves and he is expected to play in the fixture.
Entry will be pay on the gate on the day priced at £10 for adults/concessions with juniors under 16 entitled to free entry.
With their opening Super League fixture against Wigan Warriors coming five days later, this will be Warrington's final pre-season game.
A match against Salford Red Devils - a testimonial fixture for Mike Cooper - is also expected to be confirmed.
