HAVING impressed in Ireland, Phoenix Fire ABC boxer Molly Maher will now get to showcase her talent on home soil.
Maher was one of two boxers from the Warrington Fire Station-based club to win gold medals at the Esker All Female Box Cup in Dublin at the weekend – she won the under 57kg category while Freya Littlemore was victorious in the under 46kg weight class.
Maher will be part of a 15-fight bill at Phoenix Fire’s club tournament at Eagle Sports Club on Thursday evening.
Imad Nasseb – Phoenix’s national under 21 flyweight champion – headlines the card as he takes on Three Nations champion Jake Dodd.
Admission on the night costs £12 for adults and £6 for concessions.
