INCOMING Warrington Wolves signing Anthony Gelling has been named in the Cook Islands squad for the Downer World Cup Nines.
The centre, who has signed a two-year deal with The Wire from next year, will be in action at Sydney's Bankwest Stadium next weekend along with several of his new teammates.
The Kukis are in Pool C of the competition alongside Fiji, Samoa and Tonga.
Gelling has played six times for the Cook Islands during his career.
The former Wigan man may also be in contention to feature in the Kukis' 2021 Rugby League World Cup qualifying match against the USA in Jacksonville, Florida, on November 16.
