DECLAN Patton and Joe Philbin are in line to return to the Warrington Wolves team for Thursday’s Super League elimination final against Castleford Tigers.
The Warringtonian duo both missed Friday’s defeat to Leeds Rhinos in the final regular season game of 2019, with head coach Steve Price reporting both had lower leg injuries.
However, with Price naming his 19-man squad for Thursday’s game at The Halliwell Jones Stadium today, Patton and Philbin look set to be included.
“Declan and Joe will come into consideration again,” Price said.
“It’s still early in the week and we’ll know a little more after our captain’s run, but they are certainly in contention.
“Other than that, we have come through pretty well in terms of injuries.”
