RYLANDS manager Dave McNabb admits he was “pretty disappointed” with his side’s display in Tuesday’s 0-0 draw at Burscough.

Blues remain top of the North West Counties League Premier Division on goal difference and while they remain unbeaten, their 100 per cent league record has now gone.

“Overall I'm pretty disappointed with our performance, particularly on the back of how well we played against Avro,” McNabb said.

“The lads know that they have to live by the standards they set and they're disappointed too.

“The conditions to play in were horrendous which didn't help but ultimately, we didn't do enough to earn the three points against a very good and young Burscough side.

“A hard-fought point was a fair result on the night and we take away the positives of another clean sheet, maintaining our unbeaten start to the league campaign."
