NEXT week’s Stuart Middleton Foundation Warrington Cup Final will no longer be played at The Halliwell Jones Stadium.

With remedial work scheduled to be done on the pitch, Warrington Wolves will now be unable to host the main final at their home ground.

The Warrington Amateur Rugby League Association has confirmed the game will now be held at Victoria Park’s ASICS Stadium along with the Alliance final.

Tuesday’s Alliance clash will see Crosfields A take on Culcheth Eagles while Crosfields and Woolston Rovers will face off in the main event on Wednesday.

Soap’s A side became the final team to book their spot by beating their Woolston counterparts 40-6 last week – a game which featured a 14-point haul from 18-year-old Dylan Miller.

Alex Clutterbuck, Jack Williams, Jamie Harrison and Josh Whitham also crossed for Soap, with Adam Thomson providing Rovers’ only response.

Culcheth reached the final last month by beating Burtonwood Bridge 18-10 at Shaw Street.

After Woolston were selected to go straight into the final by a draw at a WARLA meeting, Crosfields booked their spot by seeing off Latchford Albion 38-6 in June.

Both games kick off at 7.15pm and admission costs £3 for adults and £1.50 for concessions.
