WISH you was in France for the game between Warrington Wolves and Catalans Dragons?
Regret not going?
Cheer yourself up with these 11 ‘no good’ reasons to have missed out on the Wire game in Perpignan.
1. It’s lovely weather at home and I’ve been able to get plenty of washing and drying done today
2. The garden fence has needed painting all year, so today was a good day
3. Would rather pay more money for beer back home so that I can contribute to helping sustain the beer industry at the levels it would like
4. It’s big shop day, when would I have done it if I’d spent the weekend abroad. Family needs feeding you know?
5. The dog needs to be walked, can’t cope without me
6. Didn’t want to chance a monsoon in Perpy like the one six years ago
7. My wife/husband supports Wigan, so I went to Barcelona with her/him this year
8. I’ve got pale skin, so I didn’t want to risk spending too long in the Mediterranean sun
9. My friends went in March when I was working, so they didn’t invite me this time
10. I’m not a lover of French food, would prefer a good Chinese takeaway watching the game on the box
11. I didn't want to get stuck in roadworks between Lloret de Mar and Perpignan in that heat as part of a 13-coach convoy
