CASTLEFORD Tigers hooker Paul McShane has been banned for a challenge he made during yesterday’s victory over The Wire.
As Wolves winger Tom Lineham dived over to score just after half time at the Mend-A-Hose Jungle, McShane slid into him knee-first in an attempt to get him out of play.
The RFL’s Match Review Panel have labelled the incident as Grade B dangerous contact and McShane will serve a one-match ban.
No Wire players have picked up penalty notices from yesterday’s game.
