WARRINGTON sports stars were among those taking to social media to celebrate England's dramatic victory over New Zealand in the Cricket World Cup final.
After both sides scored 241 from their 50 overs, the game at Lord's went down to a super over.
That also finished tied with both sides scoring 15, but the home side won by virtue of having scored more boundaries in their innings.
Such a captivating event had even the cricket sceptics glued to their television sets, including several Warrington Wolves stars past and present.
Wow!! How good was the Cricket!! Unbelievable finish. Unlucky @Bryson_Goodwin @TamaLasi #🏏🏆
