BEN Murdoch-Masila will undergo an ankle operation that will keep him out for "two to three weeks."
The Tongan second rower was a surprise exclusion from The Wire's squad for tonight's clash with St Helens - a game Wolves lost 21-10.
However, Price moved to clear up Murdoch-Masila's absence.
"Benny Murdoch just has a problem with a tendon in his ankle.
"He'll go in for an op on Tuesday but I don't see it being too much of an injury.
"It will be two to three weeks he'll be missing for."
Price confirmed The Wire had sustained no new injuries from tonight's game ahead of next week's trip to London Broncos.
