WARRINGTON Town have made their second new signing of the summer in the shape of midfielder Scott Sephton.
The 28-year-old central midfielder joins having spent last season with Evo-Stik Premier Division rivals Buxton.
Sephton, who lives in Orford, can also count Ashton United and Prescot Cables among his former clubs and joins winger Alex Byrne as a new addition to manager Paul Carden’s squad.
“I’ve been speaking to Paul for the past couple of weeks but I’m delighted to get it over the line now,” Septhon said.
“I’m glad it’s been sorted before pre-season. I can focus now on getting fit and looking forward to the games to head into the season.
“From playing against Warrington last year, I know this group is a tough group.
“The play-off games didn’t go as planned for them but they were a very strong side and they didn’t stop.
“Competition for places is good and I know I’m coming into a very strong team. That’s only going to push me to do better myself.”
Sephton will join up with his new teammates when pre-season begins on Tuesday.
