DARYL Clark continues to lead the race to be crowned our Guardian readers’ player of the year for 2019.

The Wire hooker has a 14-point lead over Blake Austin in our standings after 19 games in total.

The winner of each weekly man of the match poll receives 10 points, with the runner-up getting five and two for the third-placed player. Whoever has the most points at the end of the season is our overall winner.

Clark and Austin are currently way out in front, with last year’s winner Stefan Ratchford their next nearest challenger.
