WARRINGTON Town’s squad for the 2019/20 campaign is already starting to take shape.

Nine of the squad that fell agonisingly short of promotion to the National League North have committed to another season at Cantilever Park – and more could follow in the coming weeks.

Yellows are hopeful of tying in-demand midfielder Ben Garrity to a new deal, while full-back Alex Whittle and winger Dylan Vassallo have also been offered new terms.

Versatile attacking player Alex Byrne is as yet their only new signing having joined from Gainsborough Trinity but manager Paul Carden and chairman Toby Macormac are hard at work trying to secure new recruits.
