Hindley 36 Latchford Albion 10
A NIGHTMARE start to Saturday’s trip to Hindley left Latchford Albion with too much to do.
The hosts opened up an 18-0 lead within the first 15 minutes and despite a brief fightback either side of half time, Albion never quite got close enough to reel them in.
Jake Ashton dived over in the corner for their first try on the half-hour mark before Alex Davies raced through the Hindley defence and added the conversion to narrow the gap to eight points.
However, despite plenty of good field position, Latchford could not force any further breakthroughs and the hosts were able to add some late gloss to the scoreline.
Albion are now not slated for action until a trip to Haresfinch on Saturday, June 22.
