JOE Philbin has been voted as The Wire's man of the match from Saturday's Magic Weekend win over Wigan.
The homegrown powerhouse started at loose forward and was typically forceful in his carries at Anfield.
That was enough to earn him 39 per cent of the vote from Warrington Guardian readers, which meant he pipped Blake Austin to this week's award.
Daryl Clark marginally edged out Dec Patton to claim third place.
