MATT Barker was Latchford Albion’s hero as they took the spoils in dramatic fashion on Saturday.
His long-range penalty three minutes from time ensured victory in a pulsating encounter at Folly Lane.
Martyn Ellis’ side had led by 10 points going into the game’s final quarter thanks to tries from Chris Griffiths, Phil Woollacott and Jack Probert plus two Barker conversions and a penalty.
However, Folly had levelled the scores with 10 minutes remaining before a high tackle 30 yards from the posts set up Barker’s winning moment.
A tight first half saw just one try each from either side, with Dylan Kelly scoring for Albion.
