ANJALI Khashu’s commitment to gymnastics continues to bring beaming smiles.
The 2018 Pupil of the Year winner in the Warrington Guardian Schools Awards is now celebrating success in her first national championships.
Anjali, nine, who attends Chapelford Village Primary School, helped Team North West take top spot at compulsory level four for the first time since 1999.
In the all-round competition, she placed seventh out of Great Britain’s 50 leading gymnasts in the category.
Anjali had finished third all-round in the North West qualifying event last month.
Her mum Sunita Khashu said: “We are absolutely delighted for Anjali and Team North West and she has had an amazing experience!”
