BLAKE Austin has opened up a three-point lead at the top of the Steve Prescott MBE Man of Steel standings.
The Wire stand-off extended his lead with another three-point display in yesterday's 50-19 victory over Huddersfield Giants.
Austin took his try tally to 14 in 13 Super League games with a brace at The Halliwell Jones Stadium, including a superb individual try.
Chris Hill was given two points by the attending member of the voting panel, with Daryl Clark awarded one point.
Austin now leads by three points from Wakefield prop David Fifita, with Salford half-back Jackson Hastings a further point behind.
