THE Wire made it back-to-back Super League defeats as they slipped to a miserable home loss to Salford Red Devils.

Blake Austin and Bryson Goodwin were their try-scorers but it was a miserable afternoon for Steve Price's men.

They were second-best to a superb display from the Red Devils, for whom Krisnan Inu kicked four penalty goals.
