BRYSON Goodwin's return from injury has moved a step closer after he was named in Warrington Wolves' 19-man squad for the Good Friday clash with Salford Red Devils.

The New Zealand international has missed six weeks of action after sustaining an ankle injury in the victory over Castleford Tigers on March 7.

However, he is now clear to return to action and he looks set to start on the wing for The Wire, with Tom Lineham suspended and Jake Mamo still not fit due to an ankle knock of his own.

Another player with ankle concerns was Ben Murdoch-Masila, but scans cleared him of any serious damage from Friday's loss at St Helens and he is named in Steve Price's squad.

Ben Westwood is also back having completed a four-match suspension for his sending-off against Wigan on March 15 – he replaces Danny Walker.
