SIX Warrington Wolves youngsters have been selected to take part in the Academy ‘Origin’ series.
Josh Thewlis, Joe Barnes and Connor Wrench have been named in the Lancashire squad for the three-match series while Riley Dean, Ellis Longstaff and Jacob Gannon are chosen to represent Yorkshire.
The series kicks off at the Mend-A-Hose Jungle on Easter Saturday before moving to Blackpool’s Bloomfield Road on Saturday, May 18, as the second match forms part of the Betfred Championship Summer Bash weekend.
The final match takes place at Bradford Bulls’ Odsal home on June 15.
Ian Talbot will be in charge of the Lancashire side while Luke Robinson will coach the Yorkshire team.
