DESPITE watching his side beat their London Broncos counterparts, Warrington Wolves under 19s head coach Paul Anderson was not entirely happy.
The Wire youngsters rebounded from back-to-back losses and will be looking for a similar result when they face Bradford Bulls on Thursday, kick off 7.30pm.
Anderson wants to see more intensity from his side in order to avoid a difficult evening at Odsal.
“We needed to dig deep to get the win,” he said.
“Our intensity wasn’t what it should have been and a lot of credit should go to London, who capitalised on our carelessness and caused us plenty of problems throughout.
“We have to increase our tempo and make sure we get onto the front foot otherwise we will make things difficult for ourselves.
“We have a short turnaround with our next game on Thursday evening at Bradford Bulls, where we will need to be a lot better if we are to get the right result.”
Josh Thewlis and Ellis Longstaff both scored twice for Warrington in their 32-22 victory at Victoria Park, with the former also kicking a conversion.
