BRYSON Goodwin is back in training with Warrington Wolves but will not be fit in time for Friday’s trip to Hull FC.

The centre has not played since picking up an ankle injury in the win over Castleford on March 7 which has kept him out of victories over Wigan and Wakefield.

Goodwin has been able to rejoin his teammates but head coach Steve Price says he will not be rushed back.

“Bryson has a few hurdles to overcome yet,” he said.

“I’m happy with how Toby (King) and Ryan (Atkins) are performing at the moment so there’s no need to rush him back.

“We’ve got good depth there but I’m happy with how he’s coming along.”

Price reported no new injuries ahead of the trip to the KCOM Stadium although Ben Westwood remains unavailable through suspension.

The Wire will announce their 19-man squad for the game tomorrow.
