WITH five rounds of Super League played, it is time for an update on who leads the way in our Warrington Guardian readers’ player of the season standings.

Having won the past two polls, Daryl Clark has stormed into the lead having amassed 25 points so far.

Our system awards 10 points to the winner of each week’s man of the match vote, with five points for second place and two for third.

Stefan Ratchford – the winner of the inaugural award last year – is in second place on 17 points while Blake Austin and Josh Charnley are both on 10 points.
