Moore 75 Old Bedians 10
A DOMINANT, 11-try display saw Moore move up to second place in stunning fashion at Moss Lane.
Old Bedians were swept aside as the Black and Golds recorded their 10th victory in a row to reaffirm their promotion credentials.
Captain Mikey Woollacott led the way as he got the opening try after just four minutes – one of two he scored – and Moore never looked back.
Mike Barr and Sam Craven both crossed twice, while fly-half Matt Bradshaw scored a try and kicked 10 conversions for the hosts.
Adam Parsons, Pat Clarke, Tony Fretwell and Thomas Banks all got a try each as Moore ensured Old Bedians, the last team to take any points off them whatsoever, went home empty-handed.
Their next North West Intermediate League Division Three South game sees them visit Manchester’s seconds, the team they leapfrogged into second spot, on Saturday.
