MATTHEW Domville set new standards as Warriors of Warrington continued their success at the second weekend of the Cheshire County Championships in Macclesfield.

Domville finished first in the men's over 17s 200m breaststroke, breaking the county record held since 2008 in a time of 2mins 19.78secs.

Rokia Farag and Joe Ashley dominated the 10/11 age group category, taking gold in the 100m and 200m breaststroke.

Ronnie Weall added another gold to his collection of eight from the first weekend when he got home first in the 12 year boys' 200m breaststroke.

At the same age group Ava Vincent was successful in the girls' 100m breaststroke, while Sophie Weston took gold in the 13 year girls' 200m breaststroke and Amelia Ravenscroft took gold in the 14 year girls' 100m breaststroke.

Warriors had plenty of other swimmers also bringing home silver and bronze medals, and many swimmers achieving personal best times.

With one weekend to go, Warriors have a few swimmers in the running for overall age group awards.
