Knutsford 10 Moore 15

DESPITE several absences, Moore fought back valiantly to stretch their superb winning run.

They fell 10-3 down against a Knutsford side that were the last team to beat them in the North West Intermediate League Division Three South but recovered to record a tenth successive victory.

Matt Bradshaw kicked them ahead with an early penalty but some fine hands allowed the home side to score twice in quick succession to force Moore into comeback mode.

They started with Mike Barr breaking through in a phase of play that eventually led to Sam Craven crossing.

Moore trailed by two points going into the second half and after their forwards continued to plug away, Jack Harvey eventually broke for the winning try with 10 minutes left.

Their next game sees them welcome Old Bedians to Moss Lane on Saturday, February 9.
