WARRINGTON Wolves have headed to sunnier climes as they step up their preparations for the new campaign.
With their Super League opener against Leeds Rhinos just over three weeks away, the squad have left their Padgate training base behind in favour of a change of scenery – namely a warm-weather camp in Portugal.
The squad left the UK on Sunday and are due to return on Monday.
Guardian sports reporter Matt Turner is flying out to join the team at their base on the Algarve today and he has been invited to stay with the team until Saturday.
