A VISIT from high-flying Chester proved a bridge too far for Warrington Town’s depleted side on Saturday.
Coach Yvonne Sampson was forced to turn to youngsters and despite the gap in experience, they played some excellent netball before going down to a 58-47 defeat.
Emily Coleman, who regularly turns out for the under 17s, picked up Warrington’s player of the match award, with Emily Hull playing through the pain of an injured finger to scoop the Players’ Player award.
Warrington visit Deeside in their next game on Saturday.
