Phoenix Fire's Imad Nasseb has his hand raised after stopping Kumar Kumar in Birmingham
GREAT Sankey boxer Imad Nasseb gave a timely reminder of his potential as he won a place in a national final.
Phoenix Fire fighter Nasseb will compete in the National Association Boys Club Championships under 21 final tonight, Thursday, after winning through several rounds of competition.
After coming through county and regional rounds, the 20-year-old met Birmingham City’s Kumar Kumar in the semi-final.
Nasseb dominated and knocked his opponent down with a crushing right hand in the second round, with Kumar deemed unable to continue despite getting to his feet.
Nasseb now faces Chadwell St Marys fighter Scott Miller in the final in Manchester.
