WARRINGTON Athletics Club had representatives in races all over the world this weekend.

In Sydney, Australia, Jack Green finished fourth in a field of around 9,000 runners in the 3½-mile JP Morgan Corporate Challenge.

Green was competing for a team entered by employers ARUP, and his group won the event to qualify them for the series final.

Meanwhile, Kelly Crossley travelled “across the Pond” and clocked 3hours 49mins 45secs at the New York City Marathon – her first race over the distance.

Closer to home, Louise Blizzard won the women’s over 40s age group at Sunday’s Tatton half-marathon, with her time of 1hour 32mins 34secs enough to place her 60th overall.

Luke Gamble, Jack Stubbings and Charlie Turnbull competed in the English Cross Country Relays men's under 20s race, finishing 34th in a combined 29mins 23.20secs.
