Old Bedians 21 Moore 21

A LATE try from substitute Adam Parsons earned a share of the spoils for Moore – but it could have been even better for them.

Sam Craven’s penalty with the last kick of the game sailed just wide as they were settled for a draw.

Moore bounced back well having conceded the opening try, with Joe Pidgeon and Jack Harvey scoring tries that were both improved by Craven.

That gave them a 14-5 lead, but another Old Bedians try reduced their half-time advantage to four points.

The hosts then retook the lead just after the break and added two penalties to take a seven-point lead with just six minutes left.

However, despite being reduced to 14 men thanks to Tony Fretwell’s yellow card, Parsons’ low drive got him over the line to tie the scores.
