EAGLE Sports jumped to fifth in the Cheshire League Premier Division despite being reduced to 10 men on Saturday.
Olly Fleming’s red card proved immaterial as two goals from Chris Quirk secured a 2-0 victory over FC St Helens at Thornton Road.
Elsewhere, Daten were impressive against Denton Town as Andrew Potter’s double helped earn a 4-0 win.
Daniel Clarke and James Collins were also on the scoresheet for the Atoms at Charnock Road.
Greenalls PSO looked set to make it a Premier Division clean sweep for Warrington teams when Ben McWilliams gave them the lead against Knutsford at Long Lane, but the defending champions fought back to draw 1-1.
In League One, Grappenhall Sports ran riot as they beat Garswood United 8-0, while Brad Gallagher and Mark Lawton were on target in Orford’s 2-0 win at Halebank.
On the other hand, Moore United were beaten 3-1 at neighbours Vulcan.
