WARRINGTON Wolves’ Grand Final heartbreak continues.

It was 8-4 for 47 minutes in an absolute bruising battle of attrition but Wigan Warriors had the winning play in their ranks.

Josh Charnley crossed against his former club to open the scoring for The Wire.

Wigan hit back with tries from Dom Manfredi and Tom Davies to lead 8-4 at the break.

The second half remained scoreless until three minutes from time when a switch play by Sean O’Loughlin led to Manfredi squeezing past Tom Lineham to score in the corner.
