GREENALLS PSO made it three Cheshire League Premier Division victories in a row as they won 2-1 at Congleton VR on Saturday.

Greens dominated the first half and took the lead when Ben McWilliams flicked home Luke Fisher’s cross at the near post.

McWilliams wasn’t finished there as he met Gav Horner’s right-wing cross with a flying header to double his tally.

Congleton responded after the break and pulled a goal back, but Greens held on for the win.

Elsewhere, Eagle Sports jumped to fifth with a 3-0 victory over neighbours Daten at Charnock Road.

Daniel Burthem, Olly Fleming and James Waldron were on the scoresheet for Eagle in Culcheth.

In League One, two goals from Ashley Chester helped Moore United to their first league win of the season – a 3-2 victory over Blacon Youth. Matt Arnold scored Moore’s other goal.

Meanwhile, Orford beat Golborne Sports 6-3 in an entertaining county cup clash, with Daniel Hutchins scoring twice to go with further strikes from Ryan Barnes, Liam Leicester, Aaron Lilfird and Michael Gallagher.
