WARRIORS of Warrington head coach Darren Ashley has paid tribute to swimmers who achieved success at the British Summer Championships.

Eight of the club’s members left Ponds Forge International Pool, Sheffield, at the weekend with medals, huge personal bests and high rankings in the bag.

This builds on winning ‘most improved club’ at last year’s meet.

“I’m proud of their dedication, commitment and passion,” said Ashley, who is also head of Warrington’s Livewire Elite Swim Training Programme.

“They train hard all year to not only achieve selection to this prestigious annual meet, but they show determination and strive to be the best that they can be on the day.”
