MICKAEL Simon will not face a ban for the incident which saw him sin-binned against The Wire on Tuesday.
The Catalans prop was yellow-carded by referee Ben Thaler after raising his knee into Wolves winger Josh Charnley, who was penalised for lashing out in the tackle but not punished further.
Charnley’s actions were not reviewed by the Match Review Panel, but Simon has been handed a Grade A charge.
However, the panel say contact was light and thus Simon has avoided a ban.
Dragons forward Kenny Edwards has received a caution for “other contrary behaviour” after a bizarre first-half tackle.
Edwards left the ground and swung an arm in the direction of Mike Cooper, but made contact with his own player.
Thaler awarded The Wire a penalty for the incident and the panel deemed his behaviour to be reckless, but he too has escaped a suspension.
