STEVE Price says Kevin Brown will be assessed during the week after picking up a groin injury in tonight’s defeat to Castleford Tigers.
Brown limped off in the first half of the 34-30 reverse at The Halliwell Jones Stadium, with Dec Patton taking his place in the halves.
Price says it is too early to say if there is significant damage to the half-back.
“It was unfortunate Kev picked up an injury in the first half there,” he said.
“We’ll know more about how he is on Monday.
“It looks like a slight groin issue, but hopefully it is not too bad.”
Price also revealed skipper Chris Hill was close to missing tonight’s game after coming down with a sickness bug but he decided to play on.
