ATHLETES from both ends of the age spectrum represented Warrington Athletics Club at Sale Harriers’ latest open indoor meeting.
George Glover proved age is just a number by competed in the 60m race at the grand old age of 81.
He recorded a time of 11.44secs, which was good enough to ensure he finished sixth.
James Gladman won his 200m race in 21.59secs, while Elizabeth Wright was also victorious in the under 20s 600m race as she clocked 1min 41.47secs.
In the 60m hurdles, under 20 Rebecca Hardy finished fourth while Meg Corker was second in the under 15s race in a personal-best time of 9.58secs.
Laura Armstrong, 12, also recorded a new personal best of 9.70secs in the 60m.
